About Us

“Simon has been an estate agent for over 10 years, working from land sales to commercial developments and family homes. He lives in the Llantrisant/Pontyclun area, where he is quite well known, he was a director at Dylan Davies and Hywel Anthony estate agents, he has also lived in Cardiff, Peterston-Super-Ely and Pontyclun, he also has vast experience in photography. You would not be disappointed if you were to instruct him to sell your property from start to finish. Outside of estate agency, Simon is a big fan of Cardiff City and Wales football teams, he also likes Welsh rugby, darts and motor sports. He plays football when he can, is a member of a darts team, enjoys socialising and an occasional game of golf when he has time. But above all Simon has a friendly and calming attitude with a personable, honest approach. “

What attracts home movers to the area?

It’s a fabulous area to live in with friendly people and lots to do. The transport links are fantastic with train, bus and taxi links close by. The schools are all highly rated and there are many social clubs and sports clubs for all to enjoy. The area has links to the rest of Wales with the A4119 linking it in the south to the M4 Motorway, and to the north to the South Wales Valleys. The Talbot Green by-pass opened in 1991 to relieve traffic in the town through disabling access to or from Pontyclun via Cowbridge Road and provided a shorter route for the A473 Bridgend to Pontypridd Road. In September 2010, a £90m by-pass linking Talbot Green to Pontypridd was opened. The by-pass is notable for its three dormouse bridges, built to protect the endangered animals.

What kind of properties can you find in the area?

There are a vast number of house types in this area, there won’t be a problem falling in love with your ideal property and due to more and more being built constantly, I’m sure you could find the house of your dreams.

Give us a moving home tip…

My biggest house moving tip is to have a good look first, make sure you close it down to a few smaller areas that would suit you and you family’s needs. Examples of this are…..nearest train station, closest school if you have children, do you want a rural place with not many people, would you like a pleasant view, is it good for walking your dog and my biggest question would be….is it within walking distance of a local pub or sports bar?
